Nickel sized hail lasted for approximately 5 minutes, covered the ground, and caused no damage.

July 28, 2023 · 1.75″ (golf ball)

Hail ranging from the size of quarters to golf balls fell from Speedway and Wilmot to Broadway and Campbell. There were sporadic reports of damage to car windows and skylights.

September 28, 1995 · 2.75″ (baseball)

A rare nocturnal thunderstorm complex moved north-northeast into southern Arizona near midnight bringing a series of very strong individual storms. The complex lasted into the mid-morning hours as it moved through the southeast half of Arizona. The hail in Aravica broke some windows in homes.
