Large hail fell in town to at least baseball size, some possibly larger.

A significant hail storm occurred across the northern portion of Chicot county as a large supercell thunderstorm tracked north-northeast. The hail moved into Chicot County from southeast Drew County between Jerome and Dermott and tracked to the Halley Community. Golf ball sized hail covered the ground along the path with baseball to softball sized hail stones being the largest.
