July 9, 2022 · 0.88″ (nickel)

Radar indicated 60 dbz reflectivity to 30k feet MSL, and there was evidence of meso-cyclone rotation in velocity products. A spotter reported 0.88 hail with no reports of damage in Georgetown Lake. Another member of the public reported seeing a funnel cloud from the storm south of Phillipsburg.

July 21, 2021 · 2.0″ (hen egg)

This particular thunderstorm developed off the outflow boundary from a previous severe storm affecting Missoula and Powell Counties. The FBAN on the Anderson Hill Fire reported large hail and heavy rain had fallen on the fire. In fact, he said sufficient hail had fallen to cover the ground white.

A severe thunderstorm dropped hail up to two inches in diameter on a small rural community in the Rock Creek drainage.
