April 7, 2006 · 2.75″ (baseball)

Tennis ball size hail struck Woodbury. The hail struck the town square, causing extensive damage to parked cars, businesses, and windows and roof of the Cannon County Courthouse. Hundreds of tiles on the the Courthouse roof were broken. The tiles had been in place since 1936. The hail had broken windows at the West Side School.
