Hail the size of a baseball reported by the public at Hillsdale. Photo of hail was submitted by Tony White to WSMV-TV channel 4 in Nashville. On a side note, Mr. Maxie Phillips displayed a metal sign to the "Lafayette Macon County Times" newspaper. The business sign dropped in his yard on Williams Road, north of Lafayette, TN from debris as a result of the Sumner County tornado.
