A supercell thunderstorm slowly moved through and south of Claude. It produced a swath of hail ranging from quarter size to grapefruit size. The largest hailstones that measured 3.5 inches and 4.25 inches occurred around ten miles south of Claude.

May 27, 2015 · 3.0″ (tea cup)

Three inch diameter hail was reported 15 miles south of Claude.
