Exxon station in Rio Bravo reported Nickel sized hail (0.88).

May 10, 2012 · 4.25″ (grapefruit)

Large hail up to the size of softballs occurred for 20 minutes near Callaghan Ranch at mile marker 28 on Interstate 35. Several car windows were broken out.

April 30, 2007 · 3.5″ (softball)

Mostly golfball size hail was observed, but a few hailstones just under the size of grapefruits were observed and shown to the NWS storm survey team the following day. Windows were broken out of a few homes by the hail. There was also damage to some vehicles. The NWS survey team also found damage to small vegetation caused from the hail.|
