A report was received from the public of quarter-size hail near Sever Rivers, off of US HWY 285. The time of occurrence is estimated by radar.

September 15, 2016 · 4.0″ (softball)

A thunderstorm moved across Eddy County and produced three to four inch hail in Seven Rivers. The hail beat a vehicle and broke the windshield. The cost of damage is a very rough estimate.

May 5, 2008 · 4.25″ (grapefruit)

An off duty police officer reported softball sized hail at the Washington Ranch. Windows were broken and the north side of a home was damaged as this storm moved through.
