Ping pong to golf ball size hail was observed from a severe thunderstorm along U.S. Highway 64 and 87 on the northwest outskirts of Clayton.

May 26, 2019 · 3.0″ (tea cup)

Giant hail was reported by several storm chasers as a tornadic supercell tracked northeast through the area along U.S. 56 southwest of Clayton.
