A severe storm produced quarter to ping pong sized hail west of Hazlehurst. The hail damaged several vehicles.

June 18, 2023 · 2.5″ (tennis ball)

Hail up to the size of tennis balls fell in Crystal Springs. Several vehicles were damaged in the area.

March 29, 2011 · 2.5″ (tennis ball)

A swath of quarter to tennis ball size hail fell across northeastern Copiah County, and then moved into northwestern Simpson County. Tennis ball size hail fell along County Line Road, and quarter size hail fell in the city of Crystal Springs.
